Musical: Cast, Choir and Music
The Choir
There are 9 different songs, for choirs or in some cases soloists, which are very catchy and are easy to sing by mixed ability Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.
Here is Horfield CEVC Primary School recording the Guide Track for 'Snap!', lead by Kirsty Cunningham.

The Cast: Cantata Version
The Cantata Version is written for unlimited Choir and Narrator parts.
The Narrator part may be read by 1 adult or 1 child, or may be broken into sections to allow more than several children to share the narration of the story. The Cantata Version can be logically divided in up to 20 sections. |

The Cast: Staged Version
The fully Staged Version is written for actors, choir and soloists.
The script is written for 31 speaking roles, 4 of which are substantial. There are also 51 non-speaking roles. The Stage Pack details all the parts and the number of lines each character has, to help you decide which children would be most suitable for each role. |
The casting may be reduced for productions with fewer members and increased for productions with greater members, and all casting is easily switched between boys and girls (although we have made the script as balanced as possible).
The main speaking role is, 'Myro the Microlight', which can be split into two: one actor playing the part for Act 1 and the other for Act 2.
The minimum recommended number of children required to perform the Staged Version is 16 speaking and 10 non-speaking roles with the songs being sung by the entire cast.
The maximum number of children that could perform the Staged version is 33 speaking, 90 non-speaking and unlimited choir.
